Queen - We are the Champions
I've paid my dues
Time after time
I've done my sentence
But committed no crime
And bad mistakes I've made a few I've had my share of sand Kicked in my face But I've come throughAnd we mean to go on and on and on and on
We are the champions - my friends And we'll keep on fighting Till the end We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
' Cause we are the champions of the World
I've taken my bows
And my curtain calls
You brought me fame and fortune
And everything that goes with it
I thank you all
But it's been no bed of roses No pleasure cruise I consider it a challenge before The whole human race And I ain't gonna lose And we mean to go on and on and on and on

Regardless of what happens tomorow morning at eight o'clock, we know that Crescent Hockey will forever remain as Champions in our own hearts. We have gone through so much together, let's just stick together and override the biggest storm we have to face, yet.
GO TEAM.
B'div National Quarters:
Northland VS Crescent
2-0
Come on Crescent. You know our standard compared to them. We were on par with them that day, we just lacked in the self-belief and confidence department.
Bedok Town on Monday.
Beat them or die crying. The choice is yours.
You know we can do it. We always say how we want to get into the Finals and try for Championship. The only step we have to take now, is to win them. Let's put all our thoughts and words into action, and beat them out cold.
God has given us this sure-win path to success, let's not derail and waste the chances that are bestowed upon us. Plan: Every opportunity we have, we score. That's not difficult to remember.
WE WANT TO WIN.
Hockers, we've gone through so much together. Happy or sad, unjust or not, we've been through it all. United as one is how we should stay, and faith is what we must instill in each and every of our fellow team mates. This period of time is very crucial for Team Crescent. It's either play all out or die trying.
Evergreen may seem like small fry, but let's not let complacency get the better of us. We have to work our hardest to achieve at least 15 goals to ensure a Quarters' place. Come on, we've been through this before, you know the feeling. Let's just make our last year together one which will remain in our hearts and Crescent's School History forever and ever.
Please God, we need you most now, tomorow. We really want to win something together. We've been too cocky, we've taken things for granted, we've been diverse. But we always knew how important this win is to us, to Nordin, to Mdm Yap. Please, we need your blessings for this one. We HAVE to qualify.
Amen.
``Just hang on in there

Meanwhile, Crescent, let's just hang in there and give the Evergreen game our best shot. Score and score and repeat 18237 more times. We WILL get in, we must believe in ourselves and our team. We must believe in Nordin.
As a new chapter begins..
(Shut up, I know the first line is cheesy)
Fixtures state that this coming Tuesday(15 Feb) is our first match of the Hockey Season 2005. People always say, a good start is halfway to success, which is precisely why we want to win this match, right?
For the past two months or so, we've been running, training, just learning under the sun or in the rain. All in preparation for this tournament which we've been waiting for. Together with Nordin, we purged our guts out sprinting, striding, jogging or prefecting our basics, under no circumstances would we want to throw all our plans away, agree?
Remember all those trash talk about how we will go to a JC and the coach will bench the J2s just so we could dominate the pitch? This will never ever come through if we did not achieve any honourable heights this year.
Remember how fucked we were the day after we crashed out of Tournament '04? Remember the times Nordin verbally bashed us up because we were too complacent to seek improvement? Remember running the horrendous journey of 8-16 times round the pitch? Remember being deadbeat after a single torturous training session? These will happen over and over again until we achieve what we set out for.
Remember how we fought to win Pesta Sukan 2004 just to justify our loss earlier in the year? Remember how we stayed together despite ostracism and criticism from people-who-hate-us? Remember the number of times we were individually denied of our rights because we came from Hockey?
Memories will remain memories. Past achievements will remain past achievements. The unjust will remain unjust. But if we could work together, as a team, like we should be, things might just work our way. And this time round, our agenda is to 'conquer' all that are against us. Meaning, our opponent. We want to work hard, and have that thirst/hunger for the champions trophy in our hearts, the determination to win in our minds.
Most of all, we need to have trust in Nordin, and the belief that he can bring us to our desired result.
On another note, we have disappointed him, and ourselves enough. I mean, don't you feel any guilt when you play like shit in an important game? When you actually pay attention to how Nordin acts after losing an important game, the pain/disappointed is visible. But there is never anger. Sure, he has every right to blow up at us, but most of the time, he doesn't. Instead, he chooses to approach us with empathy, console us if we are crying and tell us it was a "good game" even if we know outrightly that we played like rubbish.
Yes, some of us may feel as though our preparation work is not thorough enough. But there is a deadline and the deadline is Tuesday. Defensive penalties, offensive penalties, flicks, whatever. What we need is faith, and like Nordin taught us, "Believe in what you can believe in". Exploit the meaning of the phrase yourself, and try to achieve that calmness he always raved about.
Be confident of the match.
WE CAN WIN THE TROPHY TOGETHER.

(Haphazard writings, pardon the anti-climax. I need to rest after training even if you don't.)
You know what? Forget about the U21 League. Too many jokes have been made about it, and it is probably a fact that Crescent will Not win this tournament. Let's switch our focus to something more Universal, say, the Nationals Schools Tournament.
